Little did the company's founders realize just how much their business would grow, when they opened the doors to the business those many years ago! A Rich History... Way back in 1925, Mason W. Haigh opened a distributorship for Cleveland Tramrail equipment, offering central Illinois the innovative products of a company that was only about 10 years old at the time. Cleveland Tramrail had already built a reputation for providing the newly-emerging industrial world with outstanding material handling products... products designed to make manufacturing more productive! The Great Depression of the 1930's... then World War II... then finally The New Deal, a time when industry really began to flourish. Through it all, Mason Haigh's company not only survived, but it grew, offering more and more products and services that made the manufacturing process easier for his customers... products and services that really made industry MOVE. Those years following World War II, factory automation became a reality, and material handling specialists tried to keep up with the demand for improved productivity. The Mason Haigh organization worked hard to meet the challenge. The company built its business on its reputation of customer satisfaction, becoming known as a single source supplier of quality cranes, hoists, monorails and conveyors... equipment designed to meet the unique needs of medium-to-heavy industry.
