Service & Repair

Downtime costs money! That’s why service and repair of equipment has been and continues to be an integral part of the Illinois Crane mission. Whatever the emergency, expert help can be dispatched to your facility with a simple phone call. Illinois Crane service technicians are on-call 24-Hours a day, 7 Days a week to assure that disabled equipment is repaired quickly and put back in service as soon as possible… all with a minimum of inconvenience to the customer! Illinois Crane also offers pick-up and delivery of your broken hoists or brakes for repair in either our Chicago or Peoria facility.

Not all equipment problems are avoidable, but perhaps a scheduled service and maintenance program with Illinois Crane could help avert unplanned work stoppages due to equipment breakdown. Planned maintenance and inspection programs can help detect potential problems, institute preventive measures and schedule necessary repairs, thereby keeping your production lines running smoothly. Also, the “Hoist In A Hurry” program has provided a welcome temporary solution to many customers faced with unexpected hoist failure.

About Us
Training

Illinois Crane established a full-service operator training program in 2006 with the intent of providing ongoing maintenance and operator education to its own employees AND professional operator training and certification for its customers. Classes are held regularly at Illinois Crane offices and on-site at customer facilities when necessary. All classes and courses are taught by experienced, certified instructors who are well-versed in all facets of plant automation and safe equipment operation. These programs are all fast-paced and interactive, with a great deal of “hands on” experience. Students are tested on the subject matter at the conclusion of classes in order to measure training effectiveness and provide documentation of operator knowledge and performance.

Personalized training is offered to customers with specific needs, and general safety overview presentations are also available to trained operators in need of a “refresher course” on a given subject. Proper training not only brings your company in compliance with government regulations, it also makes your employees more valuable, productive… and SAFE! Contact Illinois Crane for more information on training programs currently being offered. Classes fill up fast, so don’t delay!
